Description:

The FM8 Grayloy-Iron UNILETS Type T Conduit Outlet Body is a versatile and durable fitting designed to serve multiple purposes in conduit systems. With a 1-1/2 inch hub size and a Form 8 configuration, this outlet body measures 10.38 inches in length, 4.03 inches in width, and 2.78 inches in height. Constructed from high-quality Grayloy-Iron and finished with a triple-coat process consisting of zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating in gray, this outlet body is built to withstand harsh environments. It serves as a pulling fitting, allows for bends in the conduit system, provides openings for splicing, connects and changes the direction of conduit runs, and permits access to conductors for maintenance. The smooth, rounded integral bushings in the hubs protect conductor insulation, while the accurately tapped, tapered threads ensure tight, rigid joints and excellent ground continuity. The FM8 UNILETS Type T Conduit Outlet Body is completely interchangeable with Crouse-Hinds Form 8 bodies, gaskets, and covers, making it a reliable and compatible choice for various electrical applications.
