Description:

The Appleton Type-C Form 8 conduit outlet body is designed for surface mounting and features a NEMA FB-1 enclosure made of triple-coated Grayloy iron. With a capacity of 105 cubic inches, it measures 12.38 inches in length, 3.88 inches in width, and 3.56 inches in height. The outlet body has two 2-inch tapered FNPT hubs with smooth, rounded integral bushings that protect conductor insulation and allow for easy conduit joining. The accurately tapped, tapered threads ensure tight, rigid joints and excellent ground continuity. The flat back design provides greater cubic content for easier wire pulling and more room for splicing while allowing the outlet body to fit flush and snug against flat surfaces for a more stable installation. This outlet body is completely interchangeable with Crouse-Hinds Form 8™ bodies, gaskets, and covers.
