The Appleton X68 is a robust and versatile IMC/Rigid Conduit Outlet Body designed for commercial and industrial applications. This Form 8 outlet body features a cross configuration with four 2-inch threaded hubs, providing ample space for wire connections and allowing for easy access through the side opening. Constructed from durable Grayloy Iron with a triple-coat finish of zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating, the X68 is built to withstand harsh environments. The outlet body is equipped with a neoprene gasket and stainless steel cover screws, ensuring a secure and reliable seal. With a capacity of 105 cubic inches, the X68 can accommodate up to (3) 4/0 AWG or (3) 3/0 AWG wires on the side. This outlet body is UL 514A/B and CSA C22.2 approved, and is suitable for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous locations. The X68 complies with NEC/CEC and NEMA FB-1 standards, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of electrical conduit applications.
